Pfetterhouse is a rural town of 1000 inhabitants, where life is peaceful, which is located in southern Alsace between Mulhouse and Belfort, near Switzerland (45 minutes from Basel) and Germany.
The nearest town is Altkirch which is 18 km away.We live in a quiet area with fields and a forest nearby. Children can play in the street.
Around this village, there are many activities to do: walking, cycling with a multitude of routes, fishing, sports activities. The cities of Mulhouse and Belfort are 35 minutes away with many museums to see. Colmar and the Alsatian vineyard is 1 hour away. Basel, a major cultural city in Switzerland 45 minutes away (Zoo, museum, etc.). The mountains (Vosges or Jura) are around 45 minutes away.
