Brevard is a small college town in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The area is an outdoor lovers paradise, which has attracted retirees from all over the US. We have wonderful National and State Forests to the immediate north and south of town providing hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails. Brevard offers a wealth of nice restaurants, galleries, shops and friendly people with which to pass the time of day.

A few minutes drive north is the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, more delightful towns, skiing, whitewater rafting and scenery to take your breath away.
Our home is one of 10 tucked away in a small wooded nieghborhood a few minutes south of Brevard. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. Our lot is a little over an acre, but is completely private, surrounded on three sides by woods and on the fourth by a ravine.

The house is about 2250 sq.ft. on three levels. The main level has the living room with fireplace, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with an oversize marble walk-in shower. There’s a deck on three sides as well as a large covered porch on which we often dine.

Upstairs is a very large media lounge with 46-inch flatscreen TV, stereo, DVD, and well-stocked bookshelves. There’s also the large guest bedroom with king size bed and full bathroom.

Downstairs is a den/office with fireplace, computer with hi speed internet, a craft/sewing room, half bath, laundry room and garage.
