On the first floor there are two bedrooms – one of which has an en suite bathroom – and a study. The living room, kitchen and main bathroom are on the second floor. On the top floor there is a laundry room, a sitting room and a terrace with quite a lot of plants and a partial view of the castle.

The house is a fifteen-minute walk to the beach. It is close to most main amenities, such as shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas, the concert hall, theatres, the castle and museums.
Alicante has got wonderful beaches ( including nudist beaches) you can swim in nearly all year round .For those who love the mountains you have lots of really picturesque villages not far from the city ( one hour by car ).

Additionally Alicante is very well connected with Madrid ( 2 hrs by train), Barcelona ( 5 hrs by train) and Benidorm ( 30 mins drive). It is also very well connected with the rest of Europe with a great deal of low cost flights to a large number of European cities.

We are looking for home swapping in Australia, New Zealand,Canada,Uk, USA, Ireland for longer periods ( up to six months) or even longer as we wouldn' t mind taking a sabbatical year. We are also interested in short breaks in other European cities. We are open to suggestios. We love meeting new people and knowing new places. We are vey keen on all types of cultural activities. We are really fond of nature, trekking and any kind of outdoor activity.
