Two adults and two children (5 and 3 year-old). We live in Gijon, Asturias, in the Northern coast of Spain. Our home in Gijon is a unique base camp: the beach is only 75 "metres" away and we have the best nature and high mountains in less than an hour driving. Moreover, Gijon has the perfect size for family life (cultural activities, sport facilities, shops, hospitals...). Asturias is known as "little Switzerland" because of its forests, valleys and mountains. But it also has more than 300 km. of coastline and cosy beaches. In the region there are many towns, traditional villages and places which deserve a visit. From paleolithic cave paintings, pre-romanesque architecture and the Oviedo gothic cathedral to the newest Niemeyer Cultural Centre. And what about eating out? No doubt, Asturias is a paradise for foodies.

After living in the countryside for several years, we moved to our flat in 2012. Why?
1. Convenient location (beach, city centre and services).
2. Really sunny (10th floor), with balcony and opposite a park.
3. Spacious flat (> 100 m2): three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and large living room.
4. Direct access from the car park.
