Residential area, mostly villa type of homes, lots of trees, quiet surrounding. Not advised for strolls after darkness. Security company contract. Large house, space for at least 6 people, swimming pool, large garden. Sea/beach about 1km distance. Car for exchange available (mitusbishi outlander). Sauna. Camping equipment available.
No airconditiong but fans, pets welcome. 3 bath rooms. DSTv on request available ( including BVN if you want to stay in touch with home).
Many beautiful/ interesting outings to for, example Draken's Bergen; game parks (hluhluwe, and others, few hours north of Durban); beaches. Midland' s Battle Fields (Dundee Museum). In June Sardine Run, with all kind of (traditional) festivals and markets. 1/2 marathon for runners. Sea activities, boating, scuba diving with sharks, canoeing, deap sea fishing. Croc, snake farms.
Close to Umtenweni the Oribi Gorge Park, with longest slide in Africa, camping, bunjee jumping, etc.
Dining out, many reasonable options, more affordable than in the Netherlands.
June/ July is winter period, with chilly evenings ( hardly below 15 c), but mostly comfortable warm days in the low twenties. Swimming pool bit cold, sea water temperatures not below 20 c.
