The best of all worlds. Our warmly decorated (mediterrenean, trishia guild) and large house is right in the city centre of the Hague. From the bedroom window you can virtually touch the beautiful tower of the big church. Crossing the street will bring you to the best shopping area of the Hague (some claim even of the Netherlands), cinema's, the houses of parliament, the Mauritshuis (with Vermeers 'girl with the pearl') and the Queens' house. All within 10 minutes walking distance. Go the Dutch way and take the bike and within 15 minutes you'll be at the beach and at some of the Dutch best natural reserves. Take the train and wihin half an hour you are in Amsterdam, Schiphol, Haarlem or Rotterdam. I really can't think of a more ideal location to stay for sight seeing the Netherlands.
Oh yes: and walk into the garden, and you'll be amazed of the peace and quietness for a garden in the middle of centre.
