Enjoy our 400 square house with tatched roof at the Gardenroute in South Africa, in the middle of the Gardenroute (Western Cape) in South Africa.
There is a swing, sandbox and a trampolin for your kids.
Hoekwil is a little village where are about 250 peopele live. It's about 200
metres over NN in the centre of the gardenroute in between green hills.
Hoekwil is surrounded by the wildly romantic Outeniqua Mountains and the
Indian Ocean.
From here you will reach the rambling white beaches or the upstream lakes
in about 5 minutes.
Our house is the ideal starting point for
Hikingtoure through the Wilderness-Nationalpark, Bird watching, Horse
riding, canoeing or only for relaxing in the nature.
Or you can improve your handicap on one of the many golf courses, go with
the quad, make day trips e.g. with the legendary Choo-Tjoe Train (steam-
train), to Mosselbay, Kynsna, or Oudtshoorn with the Kangoo-Caves.
In 5 minutes you will reach Widerness, the meetingpoint for surfer, sailer,
paraglider and kiteboarder. Here you will find restaurants und pubs.
George (about 20 KM away) is the lovely "capitel"town of the Garden Route
whitch offers a shopping-mall, small shops and markets in town. Here you
will find what your heart desires.
Featured are the Dutch Reform Church or the old town hall with former
slaves tree.
