Main entrance. The house is in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes¤ walk from the town centre.

This is the back of the house. The stairs lead into the kitchen.

Uptairs there is the main bedroom and our two children¤s rooms.

The kitchen has a door leading into the garden.

Downstairs we have the sitting-room, the kitchen and a study.

We use this room as a study and as a living-room.

Avilés: Main street. This is a shopping pedestrian area next to the Town Hall and the old part of the town.

The beach of Salinas is just 5 Km from our house.

LOOKING FOR AN EXCHANGE IN AUGUST

WE ARE ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN VISITING LONDON.

We live in a detached house in Aviles, in the Principality of Asturias. The international airport is 12 km away and there are direct flights to Stansted Airport in London and Geneva ( http://www.easyjet.com/en/book/index.asp )
We are 5 km away from the beach of Salinas and at 15-30 Km there are several beaches and fishing villages to explore. Aviles has shopping centres, restaurants and bars. Other important cities nearby are Oviedo, the capital city, with important historical buildings, and Gijon (lively city, beach, aquarium).
The countryside in Asturias is very beautiful and you can go walking or climbing in the mountains or visit nature parks (Covadonga and Somiedo Nature Parks, Muniellos Nature Reserve).
