Our comfortable apartment stretches across the first floor of one of the nicest fully restored fin de siecle houses of Schöneberg - one of the inner city boroughs. Our home offers 6 spacious rooms. Its high ceilings, hard wood floors, stucco décor and tall tiled stoves give it a rare elegance. Kitchen and bathrooms have recently been remodelled.
The house is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with a large variety of shops and stores, cafés, restaurants and markets. Berlin has a great public transport system. Subway, city rail and busses are within short walking distance.
Berlin with its many museums, concert halls, opera houses, exhibition halls etc. is one of the main cultural centres of Europe. Lakes, parks, street-restaurants and bars and open air events make the city especially pleasurable during the summer months. Potsdam, the capital of the Prussian Kings, is at easy reach. Cities like Prague, Vienna, Munich or Rome can be easily reached by train or plane – fares are very reasonable.
