We are looking for exchanges/hospitality in Australia, Pacific Islands or Asia anytime. Exchange is our home on the beach at Rarangi Beach, Marlborough-at the top of the South Island. This is a true "Beach House" an older style renovated home right on the beach-ie no road in front. Main bedroom & 2nd bedroom have fabulous outlook from king size beds over Cook Strait to Wellington (North Island). Lounge also has french doors opening onto this veiw. Beach is 15 second walk. The beach can be calm, hot & sunny or wild & windy-but always beautiful. It is all about relaxing. Marlborough is famous for superb wines & is the gateway to the beautiful Marlborough Sounds-famous for scallops & blue cod, swimming, fishing, dolphin watching, diving (PADI shop), restaurants, cafes,art shops, kayaking, walk the famous Queen Charlotte Track, scenery. Nearby you can catch the ferry to Wellington in the North Island. Local town-Blenheim is in the heart of the fabulous Marlborough wine region (internet search for "destination Marlborough"). Christchurch City is 4 hrs drive and Nelson (gateway to Abel Tasman National Park and Golden Bay)1.5 hrs drive and Kaikoura 1.5 hrs-whale watching, swim with Dolphins and eat crayfish & paua.
