Two bedrooms with new queen beds will host a small family, or one or two couples; with just my wife and I in trade. Third bedroom is small theatre room with projection system for DVD. Oddity: no TV in house. Location is in center of Bay Area (see link for map) and within driving distance of the beaches of Santa Cruz, Carmel by the Sea, Monterrey, the Wine Country, Big Sur, Los Gatos, San Francisco. But... we mainly hang out here as it is hard to leave. The weather is famous for being both sunny and cool at the same time, with delicious breezes that blow through the house with the windows open. Jazz and folk musicians play in the various sitting areas and on the sound stages. 18 restaurants within two blocks (no kidding). The townhouse is right in the center of all this lively street life, so be warned that it can be a bit noisy at night, especially on the weekend. Just across the
street is the Hotel Valencia, a swank hotel where
additional guests can stay. There is an Art theatre at
the end of the block, popular movies across the street,
as well as a grocery store. We are neat freaks and will
take good care of your home, and expect the same. Non smokers and no pets allowed by contract, no exceptions or winking--Santana Row will not allow pets and has tight security.
