Our 1929 Spanish-style home has 3 bedrooms, but only 1 is set up as an office. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a king bed.

We're within walking distance (20 minutes) of downtown Santa Cruz, and less than 2 miles from the beach. There's a pleasant view over the town to the Monterey Bay, and when there's no fog on the bay, we can see the twinkling lights of Monterey. Our house is above the fog line, and we'll often have sunshine while other parts of town are foggy.

We have a cat, an adopted stray, who sleeps in the house all day and roams outside at night.

Santa Cruz has beaches, surfing, rolling hills with hiking, and redwoods. Literally five minutes from the house, you can be headed north on Highway 1 towards San Francisco (less than an hour away along the coast, which is the longer but prettier route). The empty rolling hills, cliffs, and glimpses of sandy coves are spectacular, and not as winding as Big Sur, which is an hour and a half to the south.
