Swap homes with us?

We offer you our comfortable residence. The house has two floors. ON the first floor you'll find the living room (about 25 m2) ,toilet and a fully equiped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge). The second floor: bathroom with bath & shower, also with washing machine & dryer you can use)and 3 bedrooms. A master bedroom, the room of my 16 year old som with a high bed. The third sleeping room contains 2 persons comfortable bunkbed of good quality. My daughter and her partner use this room when they stay at our house.
We also have a small front garden and a nice backgarden of about 60 m2(look at pictures).

The house is in a queit neighborhood on walking distance from the trainstation of Utrecht. A tramline and a lot of buslines are close by. They all lead to the Utrecht Central Station in a few minutes in case you prefer public transport over walking.

When you;re interested in exchanging houses we want you to know you can feel as much as home as possible in our house. So you can use our utensils freely. We also have twee scooters and one bike for you to use. The last time people from Spain stayed in our house and we managed to lend some extra bikes of friends for them.
The same goes for our musical installation, our dvd's and cd's, tv and harddiscdrive and pc. Feel free to use it. We also have one extra inflateble bed, So there are 5 places to sleep.

You will also find a stairlift on our stairs. Thats because of my health situation. I can walk, but taking stairs s a bit of a problem. Of course you can try the lift out if you want :)

The house is available in this summer in July and August. We will travel with our 16-year old son and probably a friend of his.
Also we would like to spend a short break at the end of september of beginning of october in Barcelona with a befriended couple (so we are with 4).

Utrecht is a very beautiful old city, especially the old centre. In the centre there are canals (like in Amsterdam) and the famous 'wharfs' next to eat where you can enjoy a lunch of diner right at the canals. In Utrecht you can rent boats, ride waterbikes and so on. There are also a lot of cultural possibilities in Utrecht. The pictures show some parts of Utrecht, and also the canals & the wharfs. Did you know utrecht is number six of the top 10 'most unsung places on the world' on the Lonely Planet website?

Because Utrecht is a city in the center of the Netherlands, a lot of other interesting spots in our country are easy to travel to.

The house is located close to the entranceway top the highway to The Hague, Rotterdam of Amsterdam of other destinies.
It's also a good location for travel by public transport. Bus and tram are close by. In 10 minutes by tram you're on Utrecht central station and in the city center of Utrecht. Amsterdam by train will take about 20 minutes from Utrecht Central station.
Did you know the famous 'Rijksmuseum' in Amsterdam with the Rembrandt paintings like 'De nachtwacht' is open this spring after a ten year renovation? And also the Van Gogh's museum is opened and renewed after a periode of restauration.
