Pool with spa/hot tub, back gate with access to park, 6 private tennis courts (key provided) and jogging trail. .3 miles to train station with service to San Francisco (30 minutes) and San Jose, bikes allowed on train and provided, or use optional car. 40 minutes to Pacific Ocean, 1.5 hours to Napa/Sonoma wine country (north), 1.5 hours to Monterey/Carmel (south), 3 hours to Yosemite National Park and 4 hours to Lake Tahoe. Many people say we have the most beautiful weather year-round. Let¤s trade! Beautiful Menlo Park, 1 mile from Stanford University between San Francisco and San Jose (either 30 miles/48 km away) accessible by train (bikes allowed on train and provided) or optional car. In the middle of the best of northern California (with the best weather year-round anywhere). 2 bedrooms, each with queen bed, 2 double fold-out sofas (1 in private office with high speed internet (apple computer but also wireless internet throughout house and yard for laptop PC) and 1 in TV room (62" HDTV with surround sound) and 2.5 baths. Gourmet kitchen with expandable dining table for all your new friends, 2 gas (wood burning is so passe) fireplaces (1 in living room and 1 in billiards salon off the kitchen with BBQ on back deck. Outside, black bottom pool with spa/hot tub and a gate in the back fence that leads to a park with 6 private tennis courts (key provided) and walking/jogging trail. All 3 near-by towns, Menlo Park, Redwood City and Palo Alto have wonderful, friendly people and numerous dining, entertainment (free concerts all summer long) and shopping opportunities and 20 excellent golf courses are within 45 minutes. The ocean and Hwy.1 are 40 minutes away, 1.5 hours finds you in the wine country (north) or Monterey/Carmel (south). Why, you ask, are we willing to leave this paradise?
