We offer an apartment in the basement of a three storey family house with an independent entry from a shared hall or directly from the garage.
It is newly refurbished in rustic style, with an overall cosy and comfortable feeling. The apartment has two bedrooms, the big one is 12 square meters, includes a double bed, wardrobe and toilet, the small one is 7 square meters.
The apartment has another bathroom with a washing machine. The large living room which is more than 40 square meters, takes up the rest of the space with an American style, newly refurbished kitchen which includes all the necessary facilities.
In the rustic living room there is a fireplace, sofas and armchairs surrounding a big wooden table. One of the sofas is a sofa bed which can convert into a double bed as a result of which the apartment is to comfortably accommodate 5 persons.
Heating and hot water is provided. There is no air-conditioning since the conditions of the construction makes the place cool in the summer.
The apartment includes a television, a video player and internet wi-fi.
It is situated in a quiet zone in the middle of the countryside and it counts with all sorts of public services such as sport centre, health centre, public swimming pool etc.. There are also attractive tourist sites nearby:
Zaragoza (40 km) the city where the last International Exhibition EXPO took place, is the capital of Aragon with shopping centres, important artistic and historical landmarks and monuments. The city is well connected to Barcelona and Madrid by the High Speed train (AVE) and it has an international airport. It is worth travelling from Épila to Calatayud (40 kms) an example of mudéjar and Roman Art with neighbouring spa baths. Fuentetodos, Goya´s birthplace, can be another destination from where it is easy to reach mountainous areas such as Tarazona, Moncayo and the Pyrenees. It is also easy to move to other parts of Spain like Rioja, Navarra and Levante. In the surroundings of Épila (2-15 kms) there are little known interesting natural sites: The eyes of the Pontil, a semi-desert steppe …, the Rodanas’s Sanctuary…. Or a wilde range of museums which La Muela can offer us (museum of the oil, the wind, the life, birds…)
