Large, detatched, contemporary house. Our architect-designed house has beautiful views and is set in a thriving Yorkshire village in 'Last of the Summer Wine' country. The village has shops, pubs, a gym, PO, takeaways and a children's park. There is an indoor swimming pool about one mile away.

The location is idyllic with the Peak District and the Southern Pennines right on the doorstep, and giving easy access to the Yorkshire moors, the coast and the cities - Huddersfield is 5 miles away and Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield are all about 25 miles away and York and Harrogate about 40 miles away.

Locally, bus and train transport links are very close and excellent. Manchester Airport is about 45 mins away and the M1 Motorway 10 miles. London is a couple of hours on the train.

There is a wide variety of outdoor activities available in the area, whether you like sports, cultural activities, or just exploring, you won't be disappointed.
