The house was built in 2005 and has all modern amenities on 1800 sq.ft (159 sq.m.) of living space. There is an open plan kitchen as well as a second kitchen in the room behind where you will find the washing machine, electric oven, regulated temperature wine fridge, etc. From the main kitchen you have a direct access to the spacious living and dining room offering you a very relaxing Roche-Bobois leather sofa that invites you to just sit back, listen to music or read a good book. There is Tv and dvd with dolby digital amplifier and surround sound system, cd player as well as playstation 3. From here you also access the fully covered terrace where we spend most of our spring/summer. As temperatures may rise above 35° celsius (95° fahrenheit) in July/August you will appreciate the shade there! After the large main hall you will reach the backside of the groundfloor with 2 bedrooms (where our girls are sleeping), 1 office room (from where Stephane is working when not abroad) and the bathroom (with separate shower and jacuzzy bath). Upstairs, the master bedroom with high ceilings offers a king size bed and a nice view of the neighborhood. There is also a 2 car garage. The house is completely surrounded by the yard (2000 sq.m.) with many trees (offering extra shade when needed) and is gated so totally safe for small children. The access to the property is via a remote controlled double gate. The house is located on a cul-de-sac (dead-end street) with only one house after ours so there is no traffic. On the other side of the street you will find another 2 houses. Behind us is a small park after which you will find the local football stadium (stadium is a big word!!!). We are 2 minutes by bicycle and 5 minutes by foot from the center of town but far enough to be in a very quiet environement.
