We're looking for the London area or the Southeast, or else anywhere in the southern half of the UK for a week or two in August'09.

Just across the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, Marin County offers you world-class uncrowded beaches, scenic National Parks and groves of giant redwoods plus an excellent variety of restaurants and natural food markets.
The climate is near perfect - Mediterranean, but no humidity, no mosquitoes and the natives are friendly!
The hiking and biking trails start right from our front door and crisscross the county. Or venture north to the Wine Country of Napa and Sonoma, less than an hour away.
A longer day trip could take you to Lake Tahoe or Yosemite high in the Sierra Mountains or southwards down the coast, past San Francisco to Big Sur, Monterey and Hearst Castle.
Our 3500 sq.ft. home is located in a cul-de-sac on top of a ridge, that looks across the San Francisco Bay on one side and over rolling hills stretching to the coast on the other. There is no traffic noise, just the occasional crying of hawks or call of a coyote.
The interior is casual, unfussy, easygoing and spacious. The appliances are modern and there is a home office with DSL connection.
There are 3 decks and a barbecue for outdoor relaxation.
Membership is possible at our private community clubhouse which offers a large outdoor pool and playground.
Just a 5 minute drive away are the villages of San Anselmo and Fairfax with a highly -rated selection of shops, restaurants and even nightlife!
Sandra and David are originally from the London/Oxford area so there will be Marmite in the larder and and Coldplay CD's at your disposal!
