Our home is situated on 27 private, wooded acres (11 hectares) in the Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island. There are creeks, walking paths and a neighboring 18-hole golf course. We are close to the ocean for fishing, kayaking and whale watching; a short ferry ride to the city of Vancouver, the Gulf Islands in Canadian waters & the San Juan Islands in American waters. It is a 40-minute drive to the capital city of Victoria and the famous Butchart Gardens. Visit www.cvrd.bc.ca for more info on this region. Modern appliances and entertainment equipment can be found throughout the house, including computer, high-speed Internet, and wifi.
